1. General Terms and Conditions
The following Terms and Conditions refer to both the chance and skill elements
(including allocation of prizes) of the RTA SpeedBlitz Cricket Promotion (referred
to as the 'Competition').
1.1. How To Play:
The rules relating to how to play the SpeedBlitz Cricket game (referred
to as the 'Game') and how to earn points (including the point scoring
system), are located at How to Play on the SpeedBlitz Cricket website. The information
set out in the How to Play and Prizes sections of this website forms part of
these Terms and Conditions.
1.2. Acceptance of Terms:
By participating in this Competition, each Registered Participant fully
and unconditionally agrees to and accepts these Terms and Conditions and the
decisions of the Promoter. The Promoter's decision is final and binding and
no correspondence will be entered into.
1.3. Eligibility:
Entry to the Competition is only open to Registered Participants. A
Registered Participant is a person 16 years of age or older who is a resident
of New South Wales holding a current, valid NSW Driver Licence continuously
from the time of registration in the competition up to and including 29/01/07
and who registers in accordance with these Terms and Conditions ('Registered
Participant'). Entry to the Competition is not open to employees (and
their immediate family members) of the Promoter or the Promoter's advertising
agencies and website designers associated with this competition and/or this
website.
1.4. Registration:
To become a Registered Participant an eligible person must register
at www.speedblitz.com and provide all required contact information including
a valid email address. A person must register under their own name and may only
register once. False, incorrect or incomplete registration information will
deem the registration invalid, making that person ineligible to enter the Competition
and to win any prizes.
1.5. Individuals and Teams:
Each Registered Participant in the Competition is automatically registered
as an individual. Registered Participants can also participate in the Competition
as part of a Registered Team (see below). Registered Participants who participate
in a Registered Team are also eligible to win the individual prizes.
1.6. Competition Period:
The Competition Period will be conducted over the following 8 consecutive rounds
(individually and jointly referred to as "Round(s)"):
Round 1: 29.11.2006 – 10.12.2006
Round 2: 11.12.2006 – 17.12.2006

Each round starts at 12:01am on its first day and ends at 11:59pm on its last
day.
1.7. Points:
When a Registered Participant logs in to play the Game, the total points
earned by that participant in each successfully completed Game will be added
to the cumulative score for all Games played by that Registered Participant
and also to the cumulative score for the Registered Team of which that Registered
Participant is a member. There is no limit to the number of times a Registered
Participant may play the Game during the Competition Period. The rules set out
in the "How to Play" section state what constitutes a successfully
completed Game for each of the different levels of the Game.
1.8. Leaderboard:
Each Registered Participant should check the individual leaderboard
and the team leaderboard respectively to see where he/she or his/her team is
currently placed.
1.9. Ties:
If there is a tie for any prize (ie two or more Registered Participants
or Registered Teams with the same highest cumulative score), the winner of the
relevant prize will be the tying Registered Participant or Registered Team with
the highest average score in all Games played by that Registered Participant
or Registered Team prior to closing of the relevant period of the Competition
to determine the prize.
1.10. Creating Teams:
Registered Participants who have reached the full licence level of
play can create a team at any time during the Competition Period by clicking
on the 'Create a team' button once they have logged in to play the
Game. The Registered Participant who creates a team is the captain of that team.
1.11. Team Members:
Once a Registered Participant has created a team, he/she can invite
other Registered Participants to join the team by following the instructions
on the 'Create a team' page. Team members must be Registered Participants
but (other than the team captain) do not need to have achieved the full licence
level of play.
1.12. Team Numbers:
A Registered Team must consist of at least 2 team members up to a maximum
of 12 team members ('Registered Team'). A Registered Participant
may be a member of only 1 team at a time.
1.13. Names:
The Promoter reserves the right at any time and without prior notice
to change any Registered Participant's registered Game name or Registered Team
name that the Promoter, in its absolute discretion, considers is obscene, abusive,
threatening, defamatory or otherwise offensive or inappropriate, to another
name of the Promoter's choice. The Promoter will notify the Registered Participant
or Registered Team's captain by email of the new name as soon as is reasonably
practicable. The new name cannot be changed by the Registered Participant or
the Registered Team or captain.
1.14. Lost Entries:

entries via the internet. Any costs associated with accessing this website are
the Registered Participant's responsibility and are dependent on the internet

problems or traffic congestion on the internet or any website; or any unauthorised
intervention, or any combination thereof – including any injury or damage
to any Registered Participant's or any other person's computer related
to, or resulting from, participation in this competition or downloading any
materials in this competition.
1.16. Cancellation:
If for any reason this Competition is not capable of running as planned
in any respect due to any cause beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter,
the Promoter reserves the right, subject to any written directions given by
the Lottery Department, to cancel, postpone or amend the Competition without
compensation to any Registered Participant.
1.17. Unfair Advantage:
No Registered Participant may use any:
1.17.1. macro, program or other
series of commands or system that enables the Game to be played automatically
or repetitively to his/her advantage or to the disadvantage of other Registered
Participants or Registered Teams;
1.17.2. any electronic or mechanical device which might enhance the Registered
Participant or Registered Team's ability to achieve a greater score than would
have been achieved by the manual operation of the keyboard without such a device;
or
1.17.3. any method or system that enables a Registered Participant to play
more than 1 Game at the same time (for the avoidance of doubt, each Registered
Participant must fully complete a Game before he or she starts another Game).
1.17.4. The Promoter may police these prohibitions but assumes no liability
for failing to do so.
1.18. Disqualification:
Any breach of these Terms and Conditions disentitles a Registered Participant
from playing the Game and winning any prizes. The Promoter reserves the right
in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual, Registered Participant
or team who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms
and Conditions or any instructions or directions on this website, or engaged
in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair
and proper conduct of the Competition. The Promoter's legal rights to recover
damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
1.19. Personal Information:
The Promoter collects the personal information of Registered Participants
in order to conduct the competition. By entering the Competition and selecting
the option to receive further information from the Promoter regarding future
promotions, each entrant agrees that the Promoter may use this information for
future similar promotional, marketing and publicity purposes, including sending
the entrant electronic messages. A Registered Participant's personal information
